The ECPC conference is a platform to exchange and discuss research and project development for personal protective equipment (PPE). It aims to foster cooperation and networking between science and industry and end user. Hohenstein invites researchers, designers, manufacturers and other health,  safety experts and end user to take a joint, scientific look at the PPE market. Subjects include intelligent systems, new technologies, materials and test methods, requirements and standardisation, and the ergonomics and compatibility of PPE systems.

  • Firefighter theme day on Tuesday and Wednesday
    The “Firefighters Theme Day” is one important part of the 9. ECPC. On Tuesday ans Wednesday we are planning special sessions to initiate interaction between end-users and scientists to create a better understanding of their worlds. Industrial partners can benefit from this to develop more task-specific products based on the functional needs of the end-users.
    Topics of the “Firefighter Theme Day” will be the practical experiences with firefighter PPE, ergonomic testing of firefighter PPE, SUCAM procedures, smart features in firefighter gear, task dependent tactical considerations for PPC as well as rules, regulations and standards.
