  Hohenstein is a testing laboratory for medical devices accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS). We provide you with neutral proof of the effectiveness and safety of your product. This is the prerequisite for your medical device to comply with the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and thus for you to be allowed to market it in Europe. For this purpose, we offer you biological, chemical and physical laboratory tests.

  Biocompatibility Testing
  The biocompatibility of medical devices is crucial to ensure that they are compatible in contact with the human body. Hohenstein offers various biocompatibility tests in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 10993 and DIN EN ISO 18562 series of standards.
  
  Efficacy & Safety Testing
  By testing performance requirements in accordance with international standards or individual specifications, you demonstrate the suitability of your product for its intended purpose
