Both with regard to our own company and in the interests of our customers in industry and trade, we regard it as our responsibility to take environmental considerations into account in our actions and to make a structured contribution towards reducing climate-related impacts.
Our medium-term target is to reduce our Scope 1, 2 and 3 CO₂ emissions, as defined by the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, by 50 % by 2030 compared with 2023. This target is based on measurable data and is reviewed regularly to ensure that progress is transparent and traceable.
EMAS Certification
With the introduction of our environmental management system in accordance with EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) in the summer of 2026, we are taking responsibility for the continuous improvement of our environmental performance whilst at the same time establishing transparent structures to ensure its effective implementation.
EMAS helps us to systematically identify, assess and specifically develop environmental aspects. The environmental management system has been fully implemented at our site in Bönnigheim. We document our environmental objectives, measures and results in a transparent manner in our environmental statement, which you can download below.
